過去十多年，
神不斷提示及證明人類正逐漸步入《啟示錄》的大災難，
所以，日華牧師已經多次分享有關預備災難的信息，
例如︰1999 年的千年蟲預備、
2009 年因「2012 榮耀盼望」信息而緊急儲糧、
2013 年為到可能出現的「全球性海岸線事件」，
進行大規範北上避難演習，
以及面對災難的種種預備等信息。
牧師於「2012 信息」中，
亦曾多次分享現代文明和科技毀滅後，繼續生存的智慧，
例如︰從大自然取水、自製濾水器，
大量種植草菇類作食物、 生火智慧、自製火箭爐、
使用單輪車及雙輪車作逃生工具等。
亦介紹過面對災難而缺乏糧食，可以養兔子獲取大量食用肉類，
因為兔子在惡劣和缺乏的環境下，仍可以大量繁殖，
是災難裡獲取食用肉類的最有效率途徑。
今篇精華短片（VO），會為大家介紹在資源缺乏下，
另一種短時間內大量得到糧食的方法，
就是馬鈴薯，即俗稱薯仔的種植方法。
基本上，種植薯仔的方法有很多種，
每一種都可以在數個月內，種出充足供應每人每日食用的大量薯仔，
而且味道良好，能夠供應人體每日所需的熱量和養分。
方法亦非常簡單，只需要泥土、水和一批薯仔，
最好選用有機薯仔，絕不要用基因改造的薯仔，
以燒過的雜草作為肥料，再加上大垃圾袋就可以。
如此，每一個薯仔都可以種出十個或以上的產量，
種出十倍以上的收成。

Growing potatoes in a trash bag is practically a foolproof way to grow potatoes. And it only takes a few easy steps to do it。
用垃圾袋種植土豆是最簡單的方法，幾個簡單的步驟就能完成。
Step 1
第一步
One week before planting, place your seed potatoes in a warm spot.
種植前一周，將種薯放在溫暖的地方，
When sprouts that are about one-quarter inch to one half inch form. They’re about ready to plant.
當新芽長到大約四分之一英寸到半英寸，就可以種植了，
Cut large seed potatoes into chunks that are approximately two inches wide.
將大塊的種薯切成大約兩英寸寬的小塊，
Each piece should have at least two sprouts.
每小塊應至少有兩個芽。
After cutting the seed potatoes, allow them to sit at room temperature for three days.
切割後，讓種薯在室溫下待三天。
Step 2
第二步
Using a pair of scissors cut a few drainage holes in the bottom of a 30-gallon plastic trash bag.
用一把剪刀，在 30 加侖塑料垃圾袋的底部剪幾個排水孔，
Roll the sides of the bag down and fill it with about one-third potting soil.
將袋子的兩邊捲起，放大約三分之一的泥土，
Now, place the trash bag in an area of your garden that gets full sun.
然後將垃圾袋放在花園裡陽光最充足的地方。
Step 3
第三步
To plant your seed potatoes first, dust them with agricultural sulfur to protect them against fungal disease.
種植你的種薯，將農業用的硫撒在種薯上，以防真菌感染。
Plant them by burying them with the eyes pointed up about two inches deep in the soil. Water thoroughly.
把種薯埋入大約兩英寸的泥土里，芽頭向上，仔細澆水。
Step 4
第四步
When your potato plants are six to eight inches tall add more soil and straw to the bag.
當土豆植物長到六到八英寸，在袋子裡添加更多的泥土和稻草。
There should be just enough soil so that the top few leaves are poking through.
泥土只要剛好填滿就可以，好讓最上面的幾片葉子露出。
As they continue to grow keep unrolling the trash bag and adding more soil accordingly.
隨著植物成長，繼續展開垃圾袋增加更多泥土。
They should stay well-watered, but not soggy.
保持良好的水分，但不要潮濕。
Now the fun part Harvest time.
現在就是有趣的部分，收穫時間。
One clue that your potatoes are about ready for harvesting is that the leaves will yellow and the foliage will die back.
你的土豆成熟的線索就是，葉子會變黃並且凋謝。
At this point, you should stop watering and simply leave them alone for a few weeks so that the skins toughen up.
此時停止澆水，把它們放在一邊幾個星期，好讓土豆皮變得堅韌。
To harvest slit open the side of the bag and release the potatoes.
收割，切開袋子的一側並放出土豆。
You can start a few other batches at regular intervals to enjoy continuous harvest.
您可以定期種植數袋，享受持續的收割。
Growing your own potatoes is not only fun but you’ll know exactly what went into your potatoes at every stage.
種植自己的土豆不僅有趣，你還會知道土豆每一個階段是怎樣的。
Along with trash bags potatoes are also grown in barrels, buckets, commercial growing bags and even cardboard boxes.
除了垃圾袋，也可以用大桶、水桶、商業種植袋，甚至紙皮箱。
我們重溫一下以上所講的步驟：
一、讓薯仔發芽一星期，當新芽長到四分之一寸至半寸，
就把薯仔切成約兩寸的小塊，再發芽三日。
二、用 30 加侖的垃圾袋，底部剪開數個排水孔，
捲起袋子兩邊，加入大約三分之一的泥土。
緊記要在垃圾袋底部剪排水孔，不單可以讓過量的水流走，
當你把垃圾袋放在泥地上時，排水孔接觸到地面的泥土，
令泥土接地，即 Grounding，就可以大幅增加薯仔的產量和尺寸。
亦可以用電線把袋中的泥土接地到水喉，亦能夠產生同樣效果。
三、將農業用的硫，撒在發芽薯仔表面，防止真菌感染，
將薯仔埋入大約兩寸的泥土裡，芽頭向上， 然後澆水。
四、當薯仔的莖長高成六至八寸，
就要在袋子裡添加更多泥土和稻草。
泥土只要剛好填滿就可以，讓最頂的數片葉子露出。
隨著植物成長，繼續展開垃圾袋增加更多泥土，
這一點非常重要，因為一次加太多泥土，
泥土的重量會壓抑薯仔的生長，減低收成的數量和尺寸。
並且，任何時間添加的泥土都必須確保是鬆軟的，
不可以壓實， 否則同樣會壓抑薯仔的生長，減低收成的數量和尺寸。
五、收割的時間，當葉子變黃凋謝，就可以停止澆水，
等候兩至三個星期，就可以收成了。
大家會看見，以上方法，只需極少資源、極少人力物力，
收成已經非常龐大， 絕對足夠供應每人每日所需的熱量和養份，
要供應每人每日三餐溫飽，是完全沒有問題。

但可以看見，如果有智慧地栽種，收成是非常驚人。

讓桶內的泥土接觸地面的泥土，形成接地，
並且，桶內的泥土是非常鬆軟，所以收成非常驚人。
