9 月 9 日，艾瑪橫掃古巴，
為北部海岸地區帶來嚴重破壞，
強風速達每小時 193 公里，更出現 9 公尺高的巨浪，
多處房屋和電線桿倒塌，多個地區水淹。
艾瑪離開古巴後，等級降為 3 級，
古巴當地約有 100 萬人撤離，
首都哈瓦那（Havana）部分地區水淹，
上千名遊客被安置在這裡避難。
其他地區的破壞相對較大，
位於哈瓦那東邊的港口城市努埃維塔斯（Nuevitas）災情慘重，
一位居民指出，路上到處都是碎石殘骸，屋頂被掀開，
鎮上一棵古老的大樹都被吹倒，城市已經停電超過一天。
海邊大部分一層高的平房都被洪水淹沒，無數家庭被摧毀。
古巴北部的科科島（Cayo Coco），
一座 60 公尺高的通訊塔倒塌。
隨後，艾瑪經過加勒比海部分地區，
穿過古巴，迎向美國的佛羅里達州，
州長史葛警告民眾加以防範及緊急撤離。
當地時間 9 月 10 日早上，州長再下令疏散另外 70 萬人，
後來，更疏散民眾數目增至 650 萬，
佔總人口三分之一，最少有 110 萬戶停電。
史葛向居民表示：
「你們需要撤走，不是今晚，不是一小時內，是現在。」
他更呼籲為佛羅里達州每一個人祈禱。
另外，喬治亞州長迪爾宣布：
該州是過百年來，首次進入緊急狀態，
南卡羅萊納州長也頒佈近 30 年首個緊急狀態令。
中國駐德州休斯敦總領事館，
已向佛羅里達州及波多黎各的華僑、
中資企業人員及留學生作出防範提示。
艾瑪登陸美國佛羅里達州前，
部分地區已發出龍捲風警告。
巴哈馬遭颶風吹襲前夕，
有民眾拍攝到薩拉索塔灣（Sarasota Bay）
本來水位達 4 呎高的海水，
突然消失得無影無蹤，只餘下乾涸的海床，
露出滿佈貝殼的泥地，變成一個大泥灘，
導致海洋生物，包括多隻海牛突然擱淺，
保護動物人員及時到場拯救。
氣象專家解釋，由於颶風的中心處於低氣壓，
所以會吸走海水。
9 月 10 日早上，艾瑪登陸佛羅里達州，來勢洶洶，
超過 150 間療養院和護理機構決定撤離。
專家指，這次是國內最大型的註冊機構撤離長者事件，
涉及超過 1 萬 3 千名長者。
艾瑪登陸佛羅里達州下群島（Lower Florida Keys）時，
每小時風速超過 200 公里，其後減弱至 160 公里，
並改變原來路線，轉為沿佛羅里達州海岸向西移動。

Tropical storm Irma is still on the move and the powerful system is moving into Georgia, where authorities confirm one person has been killed due to the storm.

接下來，世界各地將會不斷出現破紀錄的風暴，
其龐大程度甚至超出所有系統和儀器的測量範圍，
承載的雨量就好像一個湖浮在天上一樣。
事實上，緊隨艾瑪而來，
被形容為「極其危險」的 4 級颶風荷西（Jose），
將再度吹襲加勒比海島，
最大持續風速達每小時 150 英里左右，
有機會再次橫掃加勒比海部分島嶼後轉入大西洋。
亞洲方面，9 月 12 日，颱風泰利的路徑越走越北，
由最初預料直撲台灣東南部，變為在台灣北部附近水域掠過。
未來，雙颱風之間的相互作用，
對泰利的移速、強度和路徑等方面，均會造成一定影響。
同時，另一股位於菲律賓附近的低壓區已增強為熱帶低氣壓，
隨後或命名為「杜蘇芮」。
香港天文台預測，該熱帶氣旋會在 12-13 日橫過呂宋並增強，
移向海南島至廣東西部一帶，
預計於 9 月 16 日早上最接近香港，
以颱風姿態殺入本港 400 公里範圍，大家需要密切留意。
實在，踏入今年日華牧師生日前後，
亞洲及美洲地區紛紛出現毀滅性的四風，
成為一個又一個共同信息，
然而，日華牧師的英文名正是 Wind Leung，
直譯為「梁風」，與「涼風」同音，
完全吻合《雅歌書》所預言，
新婦出現，天起涼風的情景。
而且，颶風艾瑪充分表現出《啟示錄》四風的破壞力，
所有土地、建設、房屋和樹木都被徹底摧毀，無一倖免。
可見，神藉著四風級數的審判，
明證「啟示錄時代」經已來臨。
